FINALLY! THE SOUL … HAS COME BACK … TO WORLDS!!!
(if you really don’t get the reference, shame on you and watch this video)
For the first time ever, I’ll attend the World of Warcraft TCG World Championship as a player this year. On the one hand, I’m really excited and look forward to the event, on the other, I still haven’t played a single game to prepare for the big event come Friday. Fortunately, my teammates of the Bootcamp L.E. have found some time to playtest and from what I heard, they have a pretty good idea what’s playable and what isn’t. I’ll take yet another trip to Leipzig to learn everything there is to know about the format tomorrow and will then start my preparation.
If you’ve been following the blog, you already know that I’m quite busy these days. My company nexTab and the new project TCG Source are keeping me extremely busy and while it’s rewarding to see both taking off, it’s also depressing to not find any time for my favorite hobby.
Well, I guess in the worst case, we’ll just throw a big party in Rotterdam. Best case would be several Bootcamp L.E. members rocking the Top 16! Keep your fingers crossed for us and hopefully see you in Rotterdam!
When you’re reading this, I’m somewhere between Leipzig and Vienna. Tomorrow, the Austrian WoW TCG Nationals will take place and my good friend and fellow Bootcamp L.E. member Lukas Heihs was kind enough to invite Christian, Ronny and myself over to help out as staff on site!
You were probably already guessing correctly what I’d be doing and yes, you’re right, there’ll be a cool coverage of the event that will go live on Warcraft-TCG.de! It’s certainly been a while since I’ve been doing (German) coverage for the WoW TCG, but I think I can still put something together that will both inform and entertain you guys.
As always, if you have any questions or feedback regarding the coverage, get in touch with me (easiest way is ICQ: #44734926)! I’ll probably be providing you with updates via my twitter feed, so be sure to check that out as well!
I received a call this morning from my good friend Christian, asking me to access Warcraft-TCG.de. It turned out the site was down and the message shown instead of the familiar homepage read “domain for sale”. I don’t know exactly what happened, however, what I do know is we need a website for the German WoW TCG community. For the time being, I would suggest using the official WoW TCG forums (sub-forum for “Elwynn Forest”, the German speaking Realm).
My team, the Bootcamp L.E., is also missing its own dedicated forums. For the time being, we can make use of my forum, the PE Board, where I’ve set up a dedicated Bootcamp forum section. Further, we’ve decided that it would be best to set up a website for the Bootcamp. This way, we can make sure all members can communicate with each other – no matter if a third party site goes down or not. It will take us a little while to come up with something, but I should soon have more news for you.
