		<description>I remember when my wife had a job at a tax company and was kicked prior to the end of her probation time. And it wasn&#039;t because she was not good enough, but because she was too good. She managed to reduce the overhead of workload, she managed to get everything back in deadlines, and she was also able to get along with everyone in the company. But effectifly she made herself redundant.

But instead of getting rid of the worst employee and keeping a good one, she was fired because it was the easiest move for the company. Getting rid of someone during the probation time only costs you a wave and your done. Getting rid of someone else costs you a lawyer and time and money.

That&#039;s one of the worst aspects of our employment laws. It doesn&#039;t help the best workers, but only thoose that have a job. The rest is screwed. :(</description>
